Today’s Reservations (Dashboard Overview) 

What you’ll see – All reservations for today, including guest details, booking info, assigned table numbers. 

 – A monthly calendar summarizing guest counts per day with pop up showing the list of reservations showing, the day you select.  

– As well as there is one notification bell icon which will notify you whenever any new reservation is made and so on in case of update and cancellation too. 

Tips – Click a reservation to view details or make quick edits. – Use the calendar to spot peak days at a glance. 

I can’t activate my account. – Check spam for the welcome email. Resend the link from the login page. – If the link expired, request a new one and activate within the time window. 

My license key won’t activate. – Remove spaces when pasting; try again. – If it fails repeatedly, contact support with the key and your registered email. 

My exports aren’t downloading. – Try a different browser and ensure pop‑ups are allowed for this site. – Confirm you’ve applied a date range or search filter (very large result sets can take longer). 

Guests can’t modify close to the booking time. – Check Intervals > Modification cut‑off and extend it if appropriate. 

I need to pause online bookings right now. – Use an Instant Blockout until service stabilises. 

I added a new section but guests don’t see more slots. – Verify the section capacity and that Services/Intervals align with your opening hours and buffers.

Share a Direct Reservation Link or Embedded Link to your website , Under “Book Now” option , QR is also given

What it does: Lets you share a simple URL so guests can book from anywhere (social, email, Google Business Profile links, etc.). 

Steps :

1. Open Widget & Links.

2. Click Copy Link for what you want reservation widget or embedded widget 

3. Paste it on your website, social profiles, QR codes, or emails. 

Who can do this: Restaurant Owner/Admin or Users with permission. 

What it does: Prevents bookings when you need to pause or limit availability. 

Types : 3 Types of Blockouts

– Instant Blockout: Immediately blocks all new reservations until a set time. Useful for unexpected walk‑ins or kitchen delays.

– Temporary Blockout: Blocks bookings for a specific date/time range (e.g., 2–4 PM next Friday).

– Permanent Blockout: Sets recurring blocks (e.g., every Monday, or daily from 3–4 PM). Good for staff meals or prep. 

Steps :

1. Go to Blockouts.

2. Choose Instant, Temporary, or Permanent.

3. Select the date(s)/time(s) to block.

4. Confirm to apply. 

Who can do this: Restaurant Owner/Admin or Users with permission. 

What it does: Controls how often slots appear, how long a table is held per booking, and how close to service time guests can change a booking. 

Settings – Time Slot Interval: How frequently bookable times appear (e.g., every 15 mins). – Seating Duration: Default time you hold a table before the next booking (e.g., 120 mins). – Modification Cut‑off: How close to the reservation time guests can cancel or modify (e.g., 30 mins prior). 

Steps :

1. Open Intervals from the sidebar.

2. Adjust the three settings i.e., Set your time slots on your reservation widget , interval between seating time of guests, until what time before guest can modify or cancel their reservation and lastly what is the minimum lead time before a guest can reserve a table.

3. Click Save. 

Examples – Casual café: 15‑minute slots, 60‑90 minute seating, 15‑minute minimum lead time. – Fine dining: 30‑minute slots, 120‑180 minute seating, 30-minute‑minimum lead time 

Tip – Align Seating Duration with your average dining time to reduce bottlenecks. 

Who can do this: Restaurant Owner/Admin or Users with permission. 

What it does: Creates bookable seating areas—e.g., Indoor, Outdoor, Rooftop—with capacity per section. 

Steps :

1. Go to Table & Sections.

2. Click Add Section and name it (e.g., Indoor, Outdoor, Rooftop).

3. Enter the Available Seat Count for that section. 

4. Click Save.

5. Repeat for additional sections. 

Modify/Cancel – Modify to update names or capacities as layouts change. – Cancel sections that are no longer used. 

Tips – Keep section names guest‑friendly (what your team uses on the floor). – Capacity should reflect the number of covers you will actually seat there

Who can do this: Restaurant Owner/Admin or Users with permission. 

What it does: Defines the service periods guests can choose when booking. 

Steps :

1. Open Services from the sidebar under Booking Controls.

2. Click Add Service.

3. Enter a Service Name (e.g., Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

4. Set Start Time and End Time.

5. Click Save. 

Modify/Cancel – Use the Modify icon to update times or rename. – Use Cancel to remove the service if no longer needed. 

Example – Breakfast: 07:30–10:30 – Lunch: 12:00–15:00 – Dinner: 17:30–22:00 

The Set-Up area is where you can manage online booking status : 

Steps :

1. Go to Booking Controls from the left sidebar. Click on Setup

2. Enable or disable your restaurant from getting live for online table reservations.

3. Add the important note which needs to be acknowledge by the guests, if any.

4. Set the maximum and minimum number of people booking at a time.

5. Save the changes.

Who can do this: Restaurant Owner/Admin. 

Where to find:  Permissions panel on the left side bar. 

What it controls: Fine‑grained access across modules like Reservations, Setup, Intervals, Tables, and Services. 

Steps :

1. Open Permissions and select the User.

2. For each module, toggle the abilities you want to allow: View, Add, Edit, Delete.

3. Click Update to apply. 

Who can do this: Restaurant Owner/Admin. 

Where to find: Users (in the left sidebar). 

Steps :

1. Click Add User.

2. Enter Name, Email, Password, and (optional) Photo.

3. Choose the Restaurant the User will operate.

4. Click Add. The user can now log in and access their venue. 

Tip – Use a strong, unique password for each manager. You can update or disable later if needed. 

Where to find: Reservations 

What it does: Review past and upcoming bookings with powerful filters, search and export. 

Filters & Search – Date Range: Set From Date and To Date to see only the period you need. –

Search: Look up by guest name, email, or phone. 

Export – Click Export to download a CSV file of the filtered results. – Typical fields include: guest name/contact, party size, service (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner), seating preference, table number, reservation time, status. 

Best practices – Filter first, then export to keep the file clean. – Use exports to reconcile no‑shows, deposits, or marketing lists (subject to your local privacy rules). 

Who can do this: Restaurant Owner/Admin. 

What it does: Unlocks full dashboard access for your venue(s). 

Steps:

1. Sign in and look for the License popup or go to Account > License.

2. Paste your license key in the field and click Activate.

3. When activation succeeds, your full dashboard features become available immediately. 

Who can do this: Any user with an activation link. 

Password tips – Use at least 8 characters with a mix of letters and numbers. – Use a unique password you don’t share elsewhere. 

Steps :

1. From the activation page, enter your new password.

2. Confirm the password and click Save / Continue.

3. You can now sign in anytime from the login page using your email and password. 

Who can do this: Any new user who has registered. 

What it does: Activates your ReserveMyTable account from the welcome email. 

Steps :

1. Check your inbox for the Welcome to ReserveMyTable email (and spam/junk if not found).

2. Click on generate password to Activate Account link in the email.

3. You’ll be taken to a secure page to set your password (see next article for rules).

4. Enter license key to activate your account. You’ll be redirected to your dashboard once activation is successful. 

Troubleshooting – Didn’t get the email? Resend from the sign‑in page by choosing Resend activation. Check spam and allowlist your domain. – Link expired? Open the activation page again and choose Send a new link.
